True Toys House Rules
Becoming True Toys Member is for teachers only and free of charge. Please read the House Rules before connecting with the community.
We would like to have a safe space for conversing, thought exchange, idea development and creative expression.
1
Be kind.
Be kind to other members and yourself.
“What wisdom can you find that is greater than kindness?”
- Jean-Jacques Rousseau quote
2
Give feedback in private.
Use private mode when wish to comment or discuss other member's work. Some members might prefer negative over positive feedback. Make sure to check with them first.
“True intuitive expertise is learned from prolonged experience with good feedback on mistakes.”
- Daniel Kahneman quote
3
Ask questions.
There is no such thing as a silly question. Please do not be afraid to ask questions if you are unsure about something.
“Copernicus, Galileo, and Kepler did not solve an old problem, they asked a new question, and in doing so they changed the whole basis on which the old questions had been framed.”
- Ken Robinson quote
4
Say you love it and mean it.
Don't be shy to express your admiration and to give praise when you see something you truly like.
5
Stay different.
Every member and their opinion is equally valuable to us, otherwise non of you would be here with us in the first place. Everyone is different and that's our beauty and an advantage as a group.
